![]() I'm trying to gage interest and pricing before launching my KickStarter campaign in October. The target price is 550$ for a small production run. There is a shortcut-merger app that allows users to keep their current shortcut preferences when importing the Key Commander presets into DaVinci Resolve. ![]() The Key Commander has a black acrylic case, indented knobs, and removable keycap covers for re-labelling your custom keys (the pictures below show the prototype). It interfaces with macOS or Windows editing systems running DaVinci Resolve, providing you with keyboard shortcuts and controls that speed up your editing, compared to using a mouse to navigate your edit system. The prototype, hardware design, and firmware is complete and am currently finishing the GUI software with my production partner. The Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor is a perfect complement for the editor on the go. For example, turn knob for PREVIOUS / NEXT node, press knob to ADD node + keypad offers different node functions. It's ergonomically designed and groups related tools together. You can adjust the backlight intensity to your viewing environment and color to your taste. Provides keyboard shortcuts that replace dragging clips from the trim windows to the timeline or switching to different modes in the Resolve to make edits via. It's USB plug-and-play, pre-programmed with 107 tactile shortcuts, laser-etched backlit keys, 72 mechanical switches with individually controllable RGB color leds and 7 push-knob encoders. It can be used in combination with any 3-wheel color panels and easily re-programmed to your custom needs (including macros). A faster way to add a cross dissolve between two clips is to use a keyboard shortcut. I've been working on a new tool to use with DaVinci Resolve: the Key Commander! A professional shortcut control panel.
